Pilote was French comics magazine founded in 1959 by several comics artists and writers, including Albert Uderzo and Rene Goscinny. It showcased some of the greatest comic book artists of the day.


It showcased Asterix and Obelix. René Goscinny: Asterix (1959–1973), Lucky Luke (1967–1973), Iznogoud (1968–1977), Petit Nicolas (1959–1965)
