Minerva

Minerva is a character from The Twelve Tasks of Asterix. She is briefly seen alongside the other Olympian gods when Asterix correctly answers the Old Man of the Mountain's riddle, trying to persuade Jupiter to allow Asterix and Obelix to ascend to godhood.

Note[]

  • It isn't explained why Minerva has wings, but it's probably used to represent her totem animal which is the owl.
  • Although not modeled on anyone in particular, she resembles popular actresses of the time such as Sophia Loren.
