The indomitable village (French: village des Irréductibles Gaulois), located in the Armorica region in northern Gaul, is the home hamlet of Asterix, Obelix and a few other characters. Lead by Vitalstatistix, it is the only settlement in Gaul that is not conquered by the Romans, due to the typical indomitability of its inhabitants, combined with their secret weapon, the magic potion.
